CTRIO (H0) and homing
« on: April 24, 2012, 04:28:21 PM »
I have a H0 in a Dl06, both have been updated to the latest firmware. My "home" function is the basic function listed in the manual. I use the first item.."Run to limit". If I set the limit input to 1C, the home code will not execute. If I use 1D, it works fine. By design or quirk?

This should work. I just tested my H2-CTRIO (didn't try H0-CTRIO, but should be the same) with this and it worked.

What value are you writing to Parameter2?

For instance, I configured Out0/Out1 as pulse output. And configured Ch1/InputC and Ch1/InputD both as Limit0.

Then I ran Run-to-Limit with Parameter2 = 0x0000 (use Ch1/InC HIGH as limit). Works.
Then I ran Run-to-Limit with Parameter2 = 0x0100 (use Ch1/InD HIGH as limit). Works.
There are two types of people in the world; those that can extrapolate from incomplete data sets.

My bad...thanks. I suppose I (wrongly) assumed setting the function on the home screen configured the input also, Sorry to waste your time.
