DoMore to Yaskawa v1000 ethernet

I have 14 Yaskawa v1000 drives that I want to use explicit Ethernet messaging to operate. We are using a DoMore BRX cpu. I have bench tested one drive it works fine I can send/ receive all of the information. I am messaging using assemblies 21/71. I am connected to the network the MS light is solid green but the NS light is flashing green, All works but on any other system I use the NS light is solid green when it is on the system and working with the PLC. I called Yaskawa Tech support and they said the SI-EN3/V module may be defective However I tried two new one and the same result. I know there are some of you guys that have used Yaskawa drives (which we really like) and the DoMore (which we also like) to talk Ethernet I/P is it normal for the NS light not to be solid green, or do I have a problem. We have install thousands of the Yaskawa drives on Rockwell, GE, Modicon, etc. but this is the first DoMore with Ethernet.

Thanks for any help or insight you can give. I don't want the customer to have a problems with this setup, we talked them into the DoMore away from Rockwell and if it go well we hope to keep using DoMore in their factory.

Unfortunately, while I have done it with the D-more H2 and BRX, with the V1000, A1000 and GA800, at least bench testing, I don't recall paying attention to the NS LED.

I do know that the Yaskawa EIP may not detect a coms loss due to the PLC not talking or loss of Ethernet by pulling the cable anywhere other than switch to drive. I suspect this is due to explicit messages not leaving a connection open. I don't think I saw this with Modbus TCP. Implicit messaging doesn't have an issue either.

I recently did a Toshiba AS3 with AB and noticed it has a timeout parameter that can be set to monitor for lack of activity.

Then again, it's the weekend and I could be mis-remembering some of this.

Maybe it's lighting up for active polling and the other PLC's are polling more rapidly than the BRX.  Or maybe it indicates an open connection and the BRX is opening/comming/closing each time where the others keep it open?  Maybe check the Yaskawa docs to see what the LED represents.  Haven't done a whole lot of EIP except for AB <-> AB and tests with BRX, so don't really remember the protocol specifics.

Thanks guys, I think you are correct its the explicit messaging not keep a connection with the drive. The NS light flashing green per the manual is (Operating Status) = "Online communications not established" (Remarks) = "The option is on line without an established connection" The tech support guy was surprised it was working so I sent him a video.
