BX-P-ECOMLT and Modbus TCP
« on: February 01, 2018, 08:27:11 PM »
Hello,

I have read in some of the posts that the BX-P-ECOMLT has certain limitations. I am trying to use it as a Modbus TCP server, but I cannot get it to work.  The main Ethernet port works just fine but not the ECOMLT port. According to the BRX manual, it says it supports Modbus TCP server, but I did not find an option to enable the Modbus TCP server for the ECOMLT anywhere, just an option to enable it in the main port.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Miguel

The initial firmware release didn't support it, it was added after launch, so make sure you're up to date. No configuration is required in DmD, it just works.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I was not aware that the firmware in BX-P-ECOMLT is upgradeable with NetEdit. I will give this a shot.

Miguel

Yes, it is. Let us know if that fixes it for you.
