Email doesn't work

when i try to send an Email with the ecom 100 it doesn't work so i started the SMTP Viewer an this is the response:

it seems to connect to the smtp server of my internet provider but after that it just stops.

i hope you can help me with this problem

(ps i changed the ip adresses so they are just fake adresses)

Have you tried accessing the ECOM100 with a web browser and making sure you have e-mail authentication turned on? The timeout message you are getting looks like your ISP may require this and by default this is not turned on in the ECOM100.

Hello greg,

yes, i've turned the authentication on, and i tested the settings in OUTLOOK and there it's working ok.

so after that i tried another mailserver but with that one i get a 554 warning (SMTP synchronization error)

i can make for you a test emailadres and send it in a private message is that ok? so you can test it
