For anyone playing around with ladder "dark mode," using pure black for Box Instruction background colors doesn't seem to work.  I could set it, but the ladder didn't update when I hit Apply and if I left/returned to the Box Instruction Class Background Color Setting popup, the colors were back to defaults.

I even tried running as an admin and it didn't work.  What DID work was using a color that was ALMOST black.

So, that's weird but can worked around.  :)

You have to use 2D tokens for the general box background color to work right.  Ladder Options Display has that setting.

Otherwise, you have to do what you did for 3D tokens.  Not sure why RGB 000000 doesn't work (080808 worked, like you said)

I always use the 2D tokens.

I always use the 2D tokens.

Sorry - my bad - you also have to set every instruction class to use the "default" box background color in the toolbox's class background dialog.
