Announcing Do-more Designer 2.11 with New IIOT, Communication, and I/O Modules

Version 2.11 Do-more Designer is now available.

Version 2.11 of Do-more Designer contains the following new features.  View the Updates.pdf file for complete details about all the new features available for Do-more PLCs in 2.11.

• Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT)
  
  • BX-P-OPCUA Pluggable Option Module (POM) - turn your BRX PLC into an OPC UA Server.  Select specific BRX PLC elements to expose as Read-Only or Read/Write Data Nodes for OPC UA clients.  This BRX POM also supports OPC UA Discovery Services, enabling clients to identify the Server and browse the Node hierarchy of your configured BRX PLC data model.
    
    
  • BX-P-SPARK Pluggable Option Module (POM) - turn your BRX PLC into a Sparkplug B Edge Node.  Select specific BRX PLC elements to Publish and Subscribe as Tags via your configured MQTT Broker (Host Server) for seamless IIOT integration.  Sparkplug B leverages MQTT's Report by Exception along with ProtoBuf's compact encoding for efficient communication and optimized network bandwidth.

  Utilize the Ascon-128 Cipher encryption algorithm to the data using your predefined Private Key and current Nonce as inputs.  Applications: Encrypt/Decrypt when transporting data using custom Communications or for Data Files on SD Card.
  
  
• Enhanced C-more Tag Export Dialog
  Enhanced inclusion/exclusion filters, editable C-more tags with spaces and punctuation, "bulk editing" capabilities like appending prefix, suffix, case conversion, or basing the C-more Tag name off other documentation fields like Extra Info or Description instead of just the Nickname or Element, and more!
