CMore EA9 end of life: any drop in replacement options?

AD discontinuing the EA9- T15CL-R leaves us in a bind since AD does not offer a drop in replacement. Having the end users modify the control panel door opening is out of the question for most of them. We use the EA9 mounted in the control panel door with an DL06. I guess its time to rethink what we'll use going forward as well as what to do for replacement of existing equipment.
 
So what do you guys have planned for when an EA9 in the field needs to be replaced?

Host Engineering currently does not have any HMI products.  JTEKT (Koyo) develops and manufactures those.  We have no plans to develop an exact drop-in replacement.

Sometimes they offer "lifetime buys", but that is not a great answer.  On their website, I see that their recommendation is a CM5 model, but the mounting is not compatible - that's not good either.

I recommend you post something on Automation Direct's Community forum - you are definitely not the only customer dealing with this.
