I?ve been working on a project where I need 6 small stepper motors and encoders with a Z output. Looking at the encoders that mate with steppers they are all 5 volt devices and AD suggests using FC-ISO modules to interface with BRX. Thats 3 modules per motor x 6 motors x $120 per module!
Then I discovered that the 2Mhz motion modules for BRX support 5 volt encoders and drives for $30 more than the 250Khz modules I needed anyway!
AD really needs to make this known. BRX is really killing it for us!
