Trouble with SIM

So, I have been having trouble with the simulator in the Do More 2.9.3...4    When I try to launch the simulator, the simulator pops up, gives me an unable to connect message, no matter the options or troubleshooting Ive tried to do still fail. I decided to try a re-install and to no avail. Any suggestions?

Have you rebooted?

What mechanism(s) are you using to "launch the Sim" (there are multiple ways).

And virus/firewall can block comms too.
