BX-P-ECOMEX

I just received 2 new BX-P-ECOMEX POMs, and tried to connect to 2 BX-DMIO, with no luck. (I'm using main ethernet for programming, ecomex is on a different subnet,). Though they will pick up the dmios when queried, the plc will not transition to run mode because slaves are offline. Are there any known issues with such a setup?

I think EXs have to be in the same subnet as the onboard port, but ECOMLTs do not.

Actually they should/must always be on different subnets, otherwise routing doesn't work.

Should be fine. Can you give us more detail (i.e. full network config for onboard, EX, and DMIOs, firmware versions, etc)?

I don't see anything wrong there. Do you know what version of firmware is in the slave, and can you pull up the Ethernet I/O Monitor and see what error it is reporting?

It's claiming that the slave config doesn't match the actual installed I/O. What is configured for slot 1 and what is installed in slot 1?

Duh. I forgot to write the new config to the new plc. But the initial plc i was working with at an existing site, I did write the new config multiple times without success. Turns out the issue was the 2.8 OS at that site. As soon as I upgraded to latest  2.9 version it just worked. Thanks.
