Does Host have anything to do with the CMore? I'm looking for an option to the intolerable new AD "Community" forum design for information about CMore lag time issues. Any other good sources of in depth Cmore knowledge besides internet forums? We're working with AD tech support on one issue, but they haven't been responsive on the all the issues.  Like can anyone explain why when the client panel is in screen saver mode the server panel lag time increases, sometimes up to four additional seconds! We definitely need to clean up our programs, but would like to know where to apply our efforts for the most improvement.

Thanks.

C-More is a Koyo Electronics product. The forum and AD support will be your best bet. C-More help files are marginal at best.

Oh yeah, that abomination is a crime against computers, people, the product and everything in between.   I've been able to force myself to visit maybe twice, when the old forum it was several times a week.
I retract my earlier statement that half of all politicians are crooks.  Half of all politicians are NOT crooks.  There.

I am old and I'd rather chew off my mouse hand than deal with the new AD forum since so much about it irritates the heck out of. Bummer that its the only place in town for CMore info. Thanks for the replies!

PS still no solution for the EA_RUN.EXE error, but at least they did manage to duplicate the issue.

Please express your concerns about the forum to ADC, and please be completely honest. I was perhaps a bit more candid than I should have been publicly and got called to the principal's office over it, but coming from a customer they listen.

Lol, I did. ADC Community_02 then sent an email message "Wanted to take this discussion off-line to find out more details......."  which I responded to on the forum. They removed the post. I asked them to delete my account. Haven't tried to log in since then.

That's unfortunate. I used to spend a great deal of time on there answering questions, but probably do less than 25% of what I used to. I haven't heard if/when they plan to make changes, but hopefully they will.

Ubiquiti and some others have gone to that same style forum. I'm not sure why but I assume it has some sort of analytical value or basically I the end some sort of monetary incentive. I noticed everything on the ADC one is not integrated into the customer profile, all support cases and everything are there as well. Useless for me, but probably useful for them.

It appears to have gone over as well as it did for the others I was a part of that switched from the VB type to whatever convoluted deal it is now, most of the knowledge never signed back up. Traffic went down and old posts were a royal pain to dig back up.
