Short String messages

Ok, i'm working on adding custom string length for custom messages that require more characters than SS or SL allow. I want to display a message on the C-More HMI but it won't allow me to chose anything other than SS or SL. I can create my own memory blocks & set the maximum characters to 1024 but I can't add them to the C-More as it only lets me select SS or SL. Does anyone know a work around for this?

There is a 2nd Do-more driver that is the Symbolic driver that supports entering other elements.
