The place to go for great tech support
« on: October 17, 2020, 05:44:46 PM »
I had a self-inflicted problem (misunderstanding the hardware) that I was helped with on this forum by Host Engineering (BoBO, himself!) during the weekend.  That kind of support doesn't happen with other companies unless you are paying through the nose for it -- and even then, it's usually awful.

These guys make great hardware/software AND are super helpful.

Can't beat that.   :)

If you don't make mistakes, you aren't doing anything.

I got similar great help from these guys in the past as well. For a little contrast, we are having problems with a machine that uses an AB plc and HMI and we don?t have any other AB plcs. Just got a a quote for software to talk to the PLC, HMI and Servo drive $6995! Yeah right, I could toss the Plc, HMI and use a C-More & BRX and save $5K.  Might do it too. 8 thermocouple inputs running 8 heat zones and the temperatures track really poorly.
