Do-More Designer 2.74 - Autosave feature request

I'm new to this forum and if this request has been covered before, I apologize.
I am currently using Do_More Designer 2.74 and C-more 6.61.  I usually have both
programs open at once and go back and forth as needed. Yesterday, for some reason,
my computer locked up.  I couldn't do anything.  Nothing would work.
I eventually had to manually turn off the computer and restart it.
Of course I lost all the changes I made to both programs, which were a lot!
Normally I'm pretty good about saving my work as I go, but this time I hadn't saved it for an hour or so.
I know it was my fault, but a feature that automatically saves the programs at a user select-able time would be great!
I realize that a backup copy is saved every time you manually save your program.
Is this feature possible?

Sure.  We could make it configurable:

• Auto Save every X minutes without making a backup
• Auto Save every X minutes along with making a backup
• Do not Auto Save

Not sure what the default is.  A lot of people make online changes WITHOUT saving their changes to DISK because they use the DISK project as THE copy.  Hence, they tweak online, and if they like their changes, THEN they save it to disk.  We could add a checkbox that says "Do NOT Auto Save to Disk when ONLINE".

We would still support the old "Auto Save" settings (terminology will need to change),

Whenever I explicitly Save Project to Disk:

• Automatically generate a backup
• Do NOT automatically generate a backup

We currently let you specify how many "auto backups" to maintain.  I think the default is 4, but can be set to any value including unlimited.
