OUTI and Forces
« on: May 29, 2020, 04:58:03 PM »
I have an output (Y0) controlled by an OUTI, immediate out instruction.
Today I applied a force to turn the output on for some troubleshooting of the load.  Once the force was deleted, the output remained energized, even though the ladder logic was false.  I had to go back in and force to off, and delete that force.

It's working as expected for me. An OUTI would generally be used in conjunction with something like an interrupt. Are you sure the code it was in was running?

Doh, I think that was my problem, the logic may have been false, but it was not enabled in it's code block...
It obviously does the same thing if I force a coil that has no logic controlling it, it remains enabled upon deletion of the force.

Sorry, false alarm.

No worries!
