First Order Filter as Process Simulator.
« on: May 12, 2020, 01:08:29 AM »
I bought a 2AD2DA- 3 the new fast analog input and output card. I want to test this card and the BRX processor as a turbine controller.

I wired the analog output to the analog input. I added a first degree filter to the analog input , in the software and not in the card configuration. A first order filter seems to perform like the process simulator in the domore simulator.  The process simulation is then fed to the control loop and the analog output which is looped back to the analog input.

Any comments on this method, I have not added a process delay yet.
