Yeah, I was wishing for one of those yesterday, myself.
I retract my earlier statement that half of all politicians are crooks.  Half of all politicians are NOT crooks.  There.

In the mean time,

Ctrl+Shift+Y will do it if the block/parameter cursor is on the element you want to "refresh".

The tip about searching that way from a Data View has had a lot of use the last few days!

if the block/parameter cursor is on the element you want to "refresh".

Of course, that works fine  if you still have the element visible.  A lot of times, I am working through the search list and the element may be gone after changes are made.

Yup, that was my exact scenario, too.

REPLACE button is still a useful feature - the work around is just that, and it may not be that helpful (e.g. the "current" element that you need is nowhere to be found HA!).

In THAT case, Ctrl+F may be quicker  ::)

Actually, tweaking the first line in the report
"Searching for XYZZY42 in entire project..."
to
"Searching for XYZZY42 in entire project... (double click to refresh)"
would burn less real estate (no need for a toolbar).

I actually tried that,  thinking "These guys think of everything, maybe if I click on that first line showing the search parameters?" - then deep disappointment followed :-\

The other thing I'd like is to highlight the rows in the find results according to whether that location Reads, Writes, or both to the searched element, and also be able to sort the results on those categories.

The current results show the instruction, but for example if it's a MATH or other output box, you have to review it to see if the searched element is an input or output, or both, relative to that instruction.

Oh, and kudos for thinking of a rescan UI that doesn't waste pixels!

I would like to see a "REFRESH LIST" Button on the Find All results.

Fixed in Designer 2.7.  The "Searching For" top entry in the Find Results window tells you to "double click to refresh".
