Toggle PLC mode

I know that I can use Ctrl-Shift-R to bring up the PLC mode-change window. It still requires me to either tab around or use the mouse to change the mode though. Is it possible to have a hot-key combination that toggles the PLC mode (assuming the run switch is in the correct position of course)?

What if we pre-selected the other mode? Then all you would need to do is hit the space bar.

Alt-P / Alt-R doesn't work for some reason (Win10). I like Bob's idea - it seems like it would be fast and simple.

Strange.  Does Alt+F work for the File menu?

EDIT: I just tried it on my Win10 - works as expected.  Alt+P selects the Program radio button.  Alt+R selects the Run radio button.  This is all done by Windows.  Hit the Enter key to accept the default button (OK).

Just did this on Win10:
"Ctrl+Shift+R Alt+R Enter" goes to RUN mode
"Ctrl+Shift+R Alt+P Enter" goes to PROGRAM mode

What kind of PC/OS installation do you have?  We have seen some strange behavior when running in a VM, but that's usually dealing with virtual comm ports.  This is all normal windows behavior - not sure why it does not work for you (Mr. Bill does like to mess us up from time to time, however, even in retirement).

Haha. It's a standard Win10 system. Nothing strange. I restarted DMD and it seems to be working now. Very odd. I still like the toggle option but at least I have a hot-key solution now. Thanks. I'll post back here if it stops working again.
