Password Config

1st time for me at setting the passwords. I would like to set a user to be able to connect to the Do-More PLC and display all status, but not be able to change anything. To enable the user to connect, I must at least check RP, but this allows forcing and changing data. Or am I missing something?

Read Data and Read Program should not allow writing data.

Remember that setting the password doesn't invalidate the session you are currently connected under, only establishes the settings for future connections.

I thought since default was rd wd that was minimum to connect, stupidly I didn't realize I could choose rd and rp without wd. Thanks

I think we set the default limited permissions to support HMI.
