Rotor flow
« on: June 13, 2008, 11:09:22 PM »
I'm using a rotor flow to count the amount of liquid to go into a mixer. For all intended puposes, I'm using a DO-05DR to practice with. I programmed mode 10 using CT76 for the counter. This works fine for now but, when this goes into use, I am going have to have 2 of these rotors for 2 different liquids. Are you with me still? Ok, here is the qustion, as obvious as it may sound, but can I use CT77 for the other rotor?  After some reserch I know I will have to use a 205-1 or something in that size due to the I\O's I'll need to make this work once it's complete. One more thing on this, what would an easer way to program the high speed counters, I-Boxes? BTW, the rotors are only good for about 7Khz, witch is good cause the PLC is only good for 5Khz and I'll have to choke the flow down, no big deal there.
Thanks in advance for any advise I may get.
Vern.

Never mind, after I posted I saw that CT76 uses CT77.......duh
