AdvancedHMI
« on: April 21, 2016, 07:42:21 PM »
Has anybody ever used AdvancedHMI with a Do-more controller?

Is there a communications driver?

Any comments about these two running together?

Was AdvancedHMI a decent HMI? Could you do trending and keep data records?

Do-more supports Modbus/RTU and Modbus/TCP. I'm certain AdvancedHMI supports those. I would be very surprised if they supported our native protocol though.

So I would have to feed everything through modbus. No comm driver where I can just add tag names and go?

I don't know for certain whether they have a Do-more driver, but if they don't, then yes. There is nothing to prevent you from writing your code using variables in Modbus memory though.

What about OPC? Can Do-more support OPC comms?

We are planning to add OPC DA support in the future, but it is not yet supported.

BINGO

there is a youtube with someone connecting a do-more simulator to the free AdvncedHMI software. Looks easy. I will update you in a few days. All the software to do this project is free.

God bless youtube.

Appears to be using Modbus/TCP. Easy.
