Odd do-more issue
« on: March 08, 2016, 03:00:07 PM »
Hello all,

I have several do more PLC's networked over ethernet.

The network is has a private IP range 10.xx...
The private network is connected to the company LAN. The private network is configured as an alternate configuration in windows 7

OK I run netedit. All the PLCs show up except one.
I change the adapter configuration to the private network. (no LAN can be seen now)

Run netedit, All of the PLC's show up can connect to all plc's etc.

Switch adapter back to lan primary and private network alternate, run net edit. Everything shows except one.

I have wiped the memory of the PLC and wrote the program again. Same result

The connect to dialog keeps locking up the system when I try to say create another ethernet connection.

Anyone have any idea?

Thanks,

Tom

Maybe the mystery PLC duplicates an IP address on the company LAN somewhere?
I retract my earlier statement that half of all politicians are crooks.  Half of all politicians are NOT crooks.  There.
