DL Peerlink question
« on: September 28, 2015, 04:13:27 PM »
I am not at a place where I can test this right now, so I am asking about it here.
Can I set the ranges for subscribe and publish in the Peerlink table in the ECOM100 to different V-memory ranges other than the defaults?

Probably, but admittedly I don't know for certain, and am not at the office.

I got it.
You can set the beginning of the range for the entire table at the top of the ECOM webserver' peerlink setup page. Should work perfect for this app.

That's about what I expected. Glad it's working.

Trying to connect some DL devices to Do-more? You know the solution to that. ;)

Yes, but we are all already impatiently awaiting that new hardware!  ;)

This is all existing DL hardware that I'm trying to speed up a bit. There are a lot of things being done very inneficiently and it is causing some laggy HMI issues. I plan to setup peerlink to share some data between PLC's so that each of the HMI'S will only need to talk to one PLC.

I'm also making things where it will be easy to start converting over to Do-more in the future... ;)
