New RLL Plus Question
« on: May 14, 2015, 09:47:14 PM »
I'm still having trouble with some of the RLL Plus syntax.
Say I have a N/O pushbutton switch on stage 1
I understand that the rest of the line will be executed if the pushbutton is depressed during the scan of stage 1. but what if I want a different instruction to be executed it the pushbutton is not depressed?
Do I represent that line with a N/C symbol as in the attached drawing?
Or is there a different instruction?
I should mention, this is a SPST switch.
This is where I'm having difficulty understanding the syntax.
Thanks for any help!!

What you have pictured is exactly correct. There are other possible ways to do it, but that is the simplest (and most straightforward, believe it or not :) )
