DoMore really popular?
« on: April 22, 2015, 08:31:50 AM »
I decided on the DoMore PLC with Terminator I/O for my new product.  Now I got a notice that the 8 point digital output modules in both source and sinking that were backordered until the end of the month are now showing two weeks later!  How can you build a project with no digital I/O? Is the DoMore PLC really popular, and wiped out current inventories or is something else going on?

I really like the form factor of the terminator I/O and the plan for us is that when we expand beyond systems all on one skid we'll use remote I/O to tie all the skids together using terminator I/O.

Do-more is doing quite well, but no, that isn't the reason for the back order. I'll check with the product management team.

Apparently a west coast teamsters strike has resulted in our container enjoying more time in LA than we would prefer. The strike was over several weeks back, but the backlog is still clearing.

Ah, forgot about that strike! That makes sense.

Thanks
