NetEdit has problems with MB having Dual Ethernet Adapters
« on: February 22, 2015, 02:42:45 PM »
NetEdit has a problem with motherboards that have Dual Ethernet Adapters. When I changed my internet service to the new GEN4 the DHCP changes every 12 hours. It will change 100.?.?.1 to 100.?.?.254. To combate this I had to separate my internal network form the internet modem. My MB has two built-in ethernet adapters. So I setuped one adapter for DHCP, auto DNS form the internet service. The other is setup to manual IP. Computer IP is 192.168.1.100 Submask 255.255.0.0 to cover the IPs that are on the local network. NO DNS's or Gatways on the local network. Directsoft5 nor DMD software have a problem with this, but NetEdit does. It can not see the ECOM100s on the local network. If I disable the internet ethernet adapter NetEdit can then see the ECOM100s. Tried the menu item Network-Adapter-local network adapter and NetEdit crashes.

Iincluded desktop images and the crash reports. If any other info is needed, let me know.
