Good afternoon. I have a barcode scanner connected to port #2 of a D06 PLC and using the AIN instruction and the ADDB along with a pointer (thanks Controls Guy)am populating a table starting with V10000 and extending to V15000. I am looking for a way to compare the current barcode scan to the existing table (V10000 - V15000). My barcode will be 14 characters long and I have left a V register open at the end of each (barcode is 7 V registers and I am indexing 8V registers, 10010, 10020, 10030....). I am thinking about a sub routine with a CMPV that indexes through the entire table and then jumps back to the program. There will be no processes going until the compare is complete. Does anyone have any experience with this or suggestions? I am very new to AD PLCs and appreciate any assistance. Thank you,
