Display of registers above V20000 in a DL260
« on: May 01, 2014, 06:57:30 PM »
I'm online with a DL260, and if I enter V20000 or above in a Data View, it displays four question marks as the status (and in the edits column as well).

If I enter V17770, it accepts that, then if I continuously hit Ctrl-Enter, it adds registers to the Data View up to V17777, then stops adding.

260's have registers contiguously from V10000 all the way to V37777 (and the application does work, which relies on registers up to about V34040 or so).

I retract my earlier statement that half of all politicians are crooks.  Half of all politicians are NOT crooks.  There.

Make sure your comm link is configured to be a 260.  This is different than your project's PLC.

Go to the Link Editor for the link in question and hit the Auto button and see how it resolves the CPU.

I'm not at the location with the PLC anymore, but I created the link specifically for that session and it was configured for a 260.  Will try it if I'm there again.

Now I had been online with a 250 since starting DirectSoft, but that was with a different link.
