Timers Pb.
« on: January 03, 2008, 04:32:04 PM »
Hi Everybody

Why Timers T0 and T1 ,of the following blinking circuit don't work correctly when I put the 4 channel thermocouple module in the Slot1 of The DLO6 PLC ?
I noticed that this was not the case when the module was plugged in the other slots (2,3 or 4).

        T0                              TMR K60
!-----]/[------------------------(T0)--!

        T0                              TMR K30
!-----]/[------------------------(T1)--!

        T1
!-----]/[------------------------(Y0)--!

!------------------------------(END)--!

Just a hunch.  Timer 0 accumulator is in V0.  If you set up the pointer method but did not set the address (0), then the analog module will publish to V0 thru V3, the accumulators for timer 0 thru 3????  And possibly the pointer method for the other slot values are set up properly???

Or maybe you just need to do a CLEAR ALL, INIT SCRATCH PAD, cuz the pointer method registers have garbage in them???

Everything's OK after clearing the PLC memory.

Best regards.
