WX input not working
« on: May 30, 2013, 02:28:08 PM »
When I try and add a WX input I get the following message:  "Contact parameter is invalid: Element is an excluded size". The WX inputs show in the system configuration.

A normal contact only accepts bit parameters (e.g. X, Y, C).  Hit the = (equal to) key to bring up the = relational contact, which takes two numeric elements.  You can then hit the forward slash key / to toggle through the various "relational contacts".

Also, there are 4 of the 6 relational contacts on the Ladder Toolbar.  You can also look at the Instruction Palette (the first button on the Ladder toolbar labeled Instruction) for a list of ALL the instructions, or bring up the Contact Browser (F4) for a list of ALL contacts.
