Discrete I/O Module Mapping
The default configuration for a Do-more
controller is to automatically map the I/O points for all Discrete I/O
Modules, beginning in the slot adjacent to the controller, and proceeding
from left to right across the base, allocating discrete input and output
memory as each module requires.
Discrete Inputs are mapped into X memory, starting at X0. Each location
in X memory contains 1 bit, which can be ON or OFF.
Discrete Outputs are mapped into Y memory, starting at Y0. Each location
in Y memory contains 1 bit, which can be ON or OFF.
Discrete Inputs and Outputs are allocated on Byte (8-bit) boundaries.

have I/O counts that are not on Byte boundaries.
Note:
the default mapping for any of the I/O modules can be changed through
the I/O
Mappings page in the System Configuration utility.
