Is there no way currently to re scale the Y axis values in an output window on a PID View screen in Do More? You can easily rescale the Y axis of the PV/SP Pane or even have it autoscale, but the output pane seems locked to +100 to -100. This makes PID tuning from this screen practically impossible for me as my process only swings maybe +/- 10% on the output and with the lack of precision from a +100 to-100 scale I really can't make any assessment of whats going on.
If there is no way to rescale the output, this is me formally asking for that as a feature in a future release.
For now, create your own Trend View and customize it exactly as you want it. PID has a bunch of its own features, we decided not to complicate PID View with all the options you can do in a Trend View. You can actually run a Trend View and a PID View at the same time, and even synchronize the time axis of the two.
To do that, maximize Designer, close all the MDI windows other than the PID view and the Trend View, then do Windows->Tile Horizontally. From there you can synchronize the time axis from either "trend" view.
Attached is an example with the PID1.dmd sample project (I minimized project browser, and closed the PID Form section in the PID View to get them to align better).
