Do-More Designer 2.8.3 online issues

Do-More Designer freezes and won't connect online to anything (USB, serial, Ethernet).  IDK if it has anything to do with Microsoft forced updates.  However my college also works here, and I presume he has also had his laptop updated, but his Do-More works.  I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, compatibility to Win 8 and 7.  Nothing works.  I don't even get the dialog box where it asks you if you want to go online of work offline.  I have Win 10 V 2004 (Build 19041.1110). Any help is greatly appreciated.

Try a complete reboot (fully power down, wait 10 seconds, power up).

It may be something Windows did more related to the hardware (USB, Serial, Ethernet).

If that does not fix it - can you do New Online to the Simulator (MySim)?
