Windows 7 & Auto Sense
« on: February 19, 2013, 10:29:53 AM »
I just recieved a new laptop and installed DS5.  I am running Windows 7 - 32 bit.  I have modified the DS500.ini file (both the hidden file w/in the virtual store and the one in the Windows folder).  I have full admin rights to my computer and have restarted it.  The software still auto senses.  Is there a work-around for this???  I have to install this software on 2 other computers - all the same model and windows version.

When you say, "I have modified the DS500.INI file...", I assume you mean to change the Autosense line to:

Autosense=0

To modify the DS500.INI file, did you double-click on the DS500.INI entry in DSLaunch?
