H2-CTRIO, D2-250-1 VERSION 4.9 FIRMWARE DOESN'T WORK

Has anyone run into H2-CTRIO and the D2-250-1 version 4.9 not working together.  In my tests, I've used several older D2-250-1 CPU's with no problems. Using the same ICONFIG(IB-1000) and LOADER PROFILE (IB-1001) ladder (2 rungs), the version 4.8 works, but with the version 4.9 there is no response. I'm stuck.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Is this the SAME CPU where 4.8 works and 4.9 does not work, or is this 2 different CPUs, one with 4.8 and the other with 4.9?

One thing to try - try clearing the CPU and doing an Initialize Scratch Pad.  Also, redownload your CTRIO configuration to the CTRIO module.  Then download your PLC program and see if that works.

I doubt it is a compatibility problem because v4.90 firmware for the DL250-1 came out on 18-Feb-2011 (over a year ago). Surely we would've seen this before now. Let us know what you discover after you try franji1's suggestions.

I've used 4 different CPU's. 2 brand new D2-250-1 and 2 older ver 4.8.  Yes, I've reinitialized the CPU's several times.  BTW how do you downgrade the firmware?  The Firmware Updater doesn't allow a downgrade.

It is not possible to downgrade firmware v4.90. The Automation Direct techs tell me it has something to do with the real-time clock.

Regarding the DL250-1 v4.90 firmware compatibility with the H2-CTRIO, I just upgraded mine to v4.90, and tested my H2-CTRIO. It works for me. I'm not sure what is going on with your setup, or if you just happen to have two bad CPUs. You might want to call the AD techs (their help is free over the phone) and see if they can help clarify what is happening.
