Grayed Out - Write Program to PCL
« on: April 09, 2010, 02:08:49 PM »
Can anyone tell me why the option to write a program to the PCL is greyed out. My DL-06DR is connected and functioning, and my program is writen, however, I am unable to write to the PCL as it is greyed out.

The icon only activates if you are online and there is a difference between the code in the programming environment and the PLC.  If the PLC is synched with the program as displayed on screen, the icon will be inactive.
I retract my earlier statement that half of all politicians are crooks.  Half of all politicians are NOT crooks.  There.

Two things to check. Under the "PLC" menu, which is greyed out, connect or disconnect? Have you "accepted" what you have written?

Edit: The "greying  out" function of the icon behaves slightly different under different conditions. If you only edit an existing rung the icon will still be greyed until you click on accept. If you add or delete any rungs it will be colored.
