USB for Data workaround
« on: September 27, 2025, 02:17:27 PM »
Hi, Has anyone created a solution to us a USB Stick on the BRX, CM5 or EA9 USB ports Instead of the SD card? I have customers who want to us USB, not an SD card. We came up with a workaround using a Raspberry Pi as an FTP server, but it adds cost in parts and labor to build them that I would rather avoid. It works, but I do know Host was planning to add this at some time when the next board level update occurs.

The USB port is the wrong side of conversation to use devices. In this case, the PLC *is* the device.
