Multiple FILELOGs to same FS
« on: August 24, 2021, 10:47:01 AM »
I'm assuming that if you have multiple FILELOG boxes that can get triggered independently (especially if all to the same file system), that they'll queue up and execute in they order they were enabled?

if that's how it works, what impact if any does it have on the time and date stamp for the records?
I retract my earlier statement that half of all politicians are crooks.  Half of all politicians are NOT crooks.  There.

Multiple files can be open at the same time, so it shouldn't be an issue.

Things are only delayed when when targeting the same file from multiple instructions. No queue, only latch. In that case, time stamp will be when processed, not when latched, and it's round robin, so the order is code order, not order of occurrence.

That's my use case, maybe one file for fault logging, one for ops data and so forth.
