CTRIO Interval scaling greyed out

we are using a DoMore in a Terminator rack with the CTRIO module to measure flow from pulse output flow meters.  Highest pulse rate is 550 Hz  which seems like Interval scaling would be preferred but it is greyed out.  Is there something we need to do so it can be used?

Interval scaling is a timer function. It should be available when you configure an timer.
