Does a SLC 504 allow runtime edits?

I wish I had a SLC 504 to Do More magic conversion kit.

Can a SLC 504 do a runtime edit?

It depends on how much you paid (are paying) for your software. I don't recall offhand if any of the early firmware 504s didn't allow it. Some of the earlier 503s did not. Starter Edition Software doesn't allow it.

It can get real confusing trying to sort some of the gotchas before you spend your money.
