password workaround

Hi, I have been asked to help trouble shoot a problem on some DL240's used to control elevators. The equipment was installed by a company that is no longer in business and is password protected. Does anyone know how I can overcome this? Is there a master password or some way to reset it to a factory default? Is there a factory default and if so what is it. I can not find any information in the DirectLogic 5 programming help files. I can be contacted by email at wardenbrown@yahoo.com or I will check back here for responses.
Thank you

You have to send the CPU to AutomationDirect. They can reset it to factory default, but that includes wiping out all contents, including the program. There is no way for you to save the program without knowing the password.
