Bar coder.

I would like to know if anyone has experiance with bar coding using any of the AD plc.
I have been recently converting over from AB SLC and have found that the AD stuff is not bad at all (not to mention the prices).
The project is for tracking from warehouse to production to shipping and bar coding would be the answer.
Rather then using AB stuff i think this would be the first major test using AD.
Thanks

While some have mentioned success usin the CPU serial port I have always used a BASIC module. That way I can doo more flexible pre-processing on the received scan.

An output is a PLC's way of getting its inputs to change.
