(CONTACT) - if Greater Than

The if Greater Than instruction begins either a new rung, or a new branch in an existing rung, with a normally open comparative contact.

The If Greater Than contact mimics the behavior of a momentary, normally open relay. When the value of the left side is greater than the value of the right side, the contacts are Closed, allowing power flow. When the value of the left side is NOT greater than the value of the right side of the assigned elements are not equal, the contacts are Opened, interrupting power flow.
