Windows 7 to H2-ecom
« on: August 12, 2010, 07:42:03 PM »
I have a system with an H2-ecom, d2-260 , ERM and a EZ Touch Screen, networked together (hub).
I have been doing this for years and have had no problem with XP or even Vista. Now on an existing system the customer has bought a laptop (with Windows 7)  and the Dsoft and EZ Touch software. Just can not get the laptop to connect to the system. First could not see any of the modules, turned of the firewall and could at least see the modules. I did know that you can not use IPX so I had selected UDP. I can see the modules change the IP adresses and module numbers on them with netedit. I can see the modules with erm workbench. Just can not connect to make program changes to the touch screen or the D2-260. Is there something I am missing on windows 7 ?
Thanks ,

Greg

Probably not something on Win7 specifically. Since you can see the modules and even make changes to fundamental params using NetEdit, then it looks like something outside the PC. Can you connect serially to the DL260 and use Config I/O to see if the H2-ECOM shows up properly in the base?
