H0-CTRIO at reset value?
« on: August 17, 2007, 08:10:22 AM »
I am using a flow sensor with the H0-CTRIO and a DL06. Everytime I am doing a soft reset the" at reset value" stay on (green) and will not go off.
Anyone have a clue off what is going on?
I previously did the same application with a DL260 and the H2-CTRIO without any problem.
Thanks everyone for any suggestion.

laurent, in order to help you with this, I need a bit more detail as to what you are saying. I started to answer you but found that I was making numerous assumptions. Questions:
  • Does the flow sensor keep counting after you do the soft reset?
  • Is the flow sensor a quadrature encoder?
  • Is the CTRIO configured for quadrature counter?
  • Is this CTRIO input scaled?
  • If so, how?
  • Are you running a Preset Table that may reset the count?
  • Are you explaning this issue from a point of view of being in CTRIO Workbench's Monitor I/O function?
  • If using Monitor I/O, how did you answer the question "Would you like me to suspend output reads?"?
  • If using Monitor I/O, is the DL06 program possibly writing over the Reset bit?
  • If using Monitor I/O, is the DL06 program possibly writing over the Count?
There are two types of people in the world; those that can extrapolate from incomplete data sets.

I found my problem, I had to load k0 in my reset register after I did turned my bit on.
Thanks for your response!
