Firmware update via USB
« on: December 24, 2024, 09:41:37 AM »
I need to upgrade firmware on an ethernet Do-More in a DL205 rack that has no internet connection.  It is for a CNC machine that isn't running any antivirus software because of conflicts with the controller.  Any way to get the latest firmware onto a USB stick?

If someone is going to be physically there with a USB stick, instead they can just use a laptop with a USB B cable and just connect directly to the PLC using Designer and upgrade the firmware.  Just make sure they have the latest firmware on their laptop beforehand if there is NO Internet connection ANYWHERE.

DMLoader can do it as well.
