DM1E+DMIO Write PLC failed (ST132)
« on: March 21, 2024, 12:29:57 PM »
I have the following setup, currently doing FAT tests:
BX-DM1E-M-D with no I/O, working as Ethernet I/O Master
BX-DMIO-M-D with the following modules in this order:
BX-16ND3 / BX-16TR / BX-08UT / BX-08UT / BX-04UT / BX-08UT / BX-08DA-3 / BX-08DA-3

Loading this project to the PLC (only I/O setup, no logic), the link goes down temporarily, the program doesn't load properly and the PLC throws error message ST132. I also get a weird error in the Link Info, see attached image. The setup doesn't work.

The interesting thing is that with the exact same setup in my lab, fresh units from the box, I get the same error.

I tried replacing the DMIO with EBC100, same error.
I tried replacing the DM1E-M-D with DM1E-36ER3-D, same error.

When removing the last module (BX-08DA-3), there is no error and the project loads successfully to the PLC (!?!).

What could be the issue?

What firmware are you running? This sounds like a bug we recently fixed.

I was running 2.9.6. Upgraded to 2.9.9 and everything is OK now. Thank you for the help.
