Do-More 2.8 locks Windows 10

I just got a new Dell XPS Windows 10 (intel i7), and when I open a project and enable the Edit mode, the program hangs, and I get the Window Chime when left click mouse. I then need to use the Task Manager to end the program. I have tried several projects and they all do the same. I can open and edit projects on any other of my Windows 10 computers. Any ideas what the problem may be, or things to try??

Yes, there is a one time pop-up message box that is off screen.  Hit the ESC key or ENTER key.  If it does it again (there may be other one=time pop-ups), hit ESC or ENTER.  Hopefully that's it.

I thought I was going to need to carry 2 computers with me on my trip to see customers.
