Channel Failure on channel 1

I've got a new BX-18ED23-D. No additional modules are plugged into it. The unit is reporting "Channel Failure on channel 1". X10 bit is on. Is this a failure of the onboard analog input?

If the channel is configured for 4-20mA and open (reading 0mA), it will show an error code.

Channel is set to 0-5VDC.

Does it still do it if you ground it?

So, I've got this unit on my bench. I unplugged another unit I have on the bench and used its power connector. Turned the suspect unit back on and error is gone. Plugged it back into its original power connector and error is gone. Appears to be working without issue now. Strange.

If the input is outside the voltage range by a few 10th of a volt either way, the out of range indication can turn on. Generally the input will stayed centered when disconnected, but it may have come up slightly out.
