I was to let you know what PCMatic did to prevent the launch of DmD on AD's forum, but AD changed their forum over night before I got the chance to reply. Unfortunately, no matter what I tried, PCMatic allowed the launch even after I removed it from the whitelist. But your guess is likely correct, and PCMatic freaked when DmD attempted to connect to the ports of the laptop.

I apologize I could not be more helpful.
